OFFICIAL RULES

The Roseburg Visitors and Convention Bureau (here by referred to as Roseburg VCB) "Land of Umpqua Explorer" sweepstakes begins on August 15, 2008 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time ("P.S.T.") and ends on Oct 15, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. P.S.T. ("Sweepstakes Period"). Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. Limit one entry per person/household, if multiple entries are submitted, the first entry received will be deemed the valid entry and all others will be deem void. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules.

PRIZE: State, federal and local taxes, including income taxes, are solely the responsibility of Winner. Sponsor will furnish to the IRS any required tax reporting forms relating to the award of the Land of Umpqua Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the trip. Prize is not redeemable for cash.

PRIZE REDEMPTION: Trip is available from November 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 and is subject to availability. Winner will be selected on or about Oct 20, 2008 by a random drawing conducted by Roseburg VCB personnel from among all eligible entries received.

ELIGIBILITY: As of the date of entry, participants must be legal residents of the United States (residents of Puerto Rico, and Guam, and excluding where otherwise prohibited by law, rule or regulation are not eligible for this Sweepstakes), and at least 18 years old. Officers, directors, and employees of the Roseburg Visitors and Convention Bureau and their immediate families thereof, are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. "Immediate family" means only spouses, parents, siblings and children. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

TO ENTER: Go online at www.LandofUmpqua.com/contest and complete the required fields of the entry form and select "enter" and submit your entry. Incomplete entries are void.

SELECTION OF WINNER: Subject to the eligibility requirements in these Official Rules, the participant whose entry is randomly selected will win the Prize. Roseburg VCB will notify the winner by email. Winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility & Release supplied by Roseburg VCB, which, among other things, releases Roseburg VCB and the Roseburg Chamber of Commerce and its staff and board all liability related to this Sweepstakes and Prize. Winner must return these documents no later than 14 days of receipt. If winner fails to sign and return the documents within 14 days of receipt, or fails to meet any eligibility requirement, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing, to be held as soon as reasonably practicable. Alternate winner is subject to all eligibility requirements and restrictions of these Official Rules.

OTHER RESTRICTIONS: Southern Oregon trip must be completed by June 30, 2009. Roseburg VCB reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes at its sole discretion should any virus, non-authorized intervention, telecommunications or computer failure, malfunction, or other cause beyond their reasonable control, corrupt or impair the security, administration fairness and/or operation of this Sweepstakes. In such event, a drawing will be conducted to award the Prize using all entries received as of the time of cancellation, termination, modification or suspension. SOVA reserves the right to correct typographical, clerical or printing errors in any Sweepstakes materials. Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, consultants, agents and employees will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage or liability of any kind (including but not limited to damage to computer equipment) resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes, downloading, or the acceptance or use of any prize or travel related to the acceptance or use of any prize. Any person suspected of defrauding or tampering with this Sweepstakes in any way will be disqualified and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Roseburg VCB shall have the sole right to disqualify any contestant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion. Roseburg VCB makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, and disclaims any implied warranty.
